How can you help?

Easy ways to support us in 30 minutes or less.

Community volunteers are extremely important to us. We are grateful for, and value, your time. Volunteering doesn't have to be burdensome or feel like a job! That's why we have created easy breezy ways for you to help. Below are some examples. We invite you to call or email us to learn about current opportunities.

Like & share our posts on social media to help expand awareness of our meetings, trainings and events.

Help put up flyers in the community.

Check a local community Narcan Box and let us know if it needs to be refilled or replaced if expired.

Help weed or garden at our new center in Haines Falls.

Share our website with someone you know that may need our services, that would be interested in volunteering, or perhaps would consider making a donation.

Have a particular skillset or more than 30 minutes to spare?

Topics will be driven by interest and are a chance to discuss successes and challenges from the previous week and weekend.  All are welcome; people in recovery, family, friends, allies.  Walk-ins welcome.

Lead by MCC staff and volunteers. The lengths of the walks will vary. Trails are easy and typically flat, please wear proper attire, bring water and a snack. All are welcome; people in recovery, family, friends, allies. Walk-ins welcome.
Every Wednesday, 4:30-5:30pm ET upstairs at 52 North South Lake Road in Haines Falls.
